We mostly provide Individual, Family, and Couples Counseling/psychotherapy.
Nowadays, mental health practitioners are asked about specialties, mostly because people think that their issues require a specialist, which is generally not true, a popularized nonsense belief. Most people who come to psychotherapy have problems with depression, anxiety, and troubled relationships.
However there may be certain features of your unique needs that you would want to see a specialist for. For example, chemical dependency, eating disorders, gender identity disorder. Dr. Daley does not directly treat chemical dependency issues, gender identity issue, or eating disorder issues, but he can serve as an adjunct therapist when you are seeing one of those specialists (e.g., to work on relationship issues while working elsewhere on chemical dependency issues).
Port Angeles, Arlington, and Port Orchard are small towns, and, as such, we offer Individual, Couples, and Family Therapy to almost everyone, with very few presenting problems that are so outside of our area of expertise as to necessitate you “going to the big city” for help.
Dr. Daley DOES NOT PROVIDE EMERGENCY SERVICES. If you have an emergency, you can call 1-800-584-3578, a national crisis line at 1-800-273-8255, 911, or go to the emergency room at the local hospital. You can also try the emergency services at your local mental health center.
